Science and God

Evolution teaches us that As the rabbit gets smarter, so does the fox.

Why is it that man's predators and man's prey did not develop mentally along with man? Yes, I know, one has to be first - - but to be so far ahead defies Darwin's arguments.

Don't get confused with the conjectures over the intelligence of certain other species. Perhaps the dolphin is God's next in line if we fail. Never the less, science has put forth more then enough effort to be able to determine that the responses of other species of this planet, while enlightening, hardly show anything that comes close to the homo sapien.

Why is that?

One of the reasons that science looks so diligently to find equals to ourselves is because the NO GOD theory doesn't give any consistent answer to the question; why are we different? The theory that we simply evolved doesn't work unless others have reached our stage or close to it. This is also the reason many science fiction writers have delved into the transplanted Alien theory. The degree that we surpass our fellow earthlings is to great (and don't get me wrong - - too potentially terrible) to be written off as simple evolution.

All this confusion comes from one false assumption.

The existing religions failed to fulfill their function, and in their failing, tried to stop change so that they could maintain the status quo. A separation occurred between those who Investigated and those who Maintained. The Investigators, Science if you will, came to the conclusion that if the Maintainers, Religion if you will, are wrong about one thing, they are probably wrong about everything.

This was a mistake.

The religions are made up of two things
• The Actual Teachings, or the Word of the Manifestation who founded the religion.
• The Interpretation, by man, of those teachings.
